Research Statement |
| Dr. Wise's research involves the application of molecular modeling techniques to polymer and nanocomposite materials. He is involved in collaborative projects with several experimental activities at NASA Langley where he employs both quantum and classical mechanical based approaches to better understand existing systems and to guide the development of improved materials. Recent systems of interest have included piezoelectric polymers, conductive nanotube-polymer composites, and stabilizing polymer matrices for nanotube dispersion. |
